We just do things a little differently, that's all! (Fevers)

I have wanted to write this post for awhile now. Derek and I often hear a lot of the following: "Your kids don't hardly ever get sick, do they?" "Tell me about your natural childbirths." "Where is child xyz on the percentile charts?" "So what do you do when your kids DO get sick??" "What kind of supplements do you take?" "How much did child xyz weigh at his last well-child visit?" etc. I have been wanting to write this post for awhile, because, well...we just do things a little differently than a lot of people and a lot of those people don't know that about us!! Some of you might assume things about us since Derek is going into the field of Chiropractic. Or maybe you see the cloth diapers on our children and think, "Oh, brother...she's one of those moms!!" Well, maybe a lot of those stereotypes about Chiropractors and cloth-diapering moms are true about us...the Frye's!! I wanted to write this, thou

As in a few weeks ago, up until today :) Getting a ride on Great Grandpa's walker Thanks, Aunt Jeannine :) Now, a ride on cousin Jill's back!! Back home from TN and time for some football (I always have clothes on the back of my couch...just straight up going to admit it.) Eli in the cup drawer this morning Titus takes a turn spinning the chair for his brothers (I guess our kids like rides!) Making "healthy food" out of Memory cards and matching disks Time for art!! Yes, we DID get out of our pajamas today, but not until after bath time which occurred at ohhhhhhhhh about 2:00 in the afternoon :) Gotta love it!!

Maternity Clothes

Image
You know when you get pregnant with your first baby? Most new moms can't wait to start showing and get into those maternity clothes! With your second, you realize how frumpy most (ahem, affordable**) maternity clothes are, and you hold off pulling them out of storage. You use rubber bands on your jeans, pull out every pair of stretchy-waist pants you can find, and wear your normal shirts and just let it hug your belly. By baby number three, you recognize the fact that maternity clothes are indeed in your near future, and you go ahead and give into pulling them out and putting on at least the nice stretchy maternity pants. (not to mention the fact that your belly pops out MUCH quicker with your third!) And by the time you are pregnant with number four?? You get excited when you find out you're pregnant, if only because you get to get into those comfortable maternity clothes again and let that belly HANG OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Look at him go :)

Eli is walking all over the place now! Here's a video of him at GG's house.

Our Christmas Fun...Days 20-25

Image
After our Frye fam celebration, we left for Memphis and then Knoxville to visit family and celebrate Christmas. We saw aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and more :) The drive is never FUN, but the boys did well, considering how long they were in the car after it was all said and done. Enjoy the show! I almost forgot to post about our trip to Chuck E. Cheese!! The boys had a blast, and it was a much-needed night out on the town for all of us :) Believe it or not, the boys had never been to Chuck E. Cheese before (except when Justus attended a birthday party there as a baby!) They had so much fun...I love some of these pictures! (Sorry for the overload...I didn't feel like doing another slideshow!) All 3 of them LOVED this show Grandbob and Derek had to race Justus loved carrying around his own tokens Roller coaster ride
