Ice, 9 degree temps, and not feeling our toes

Image
Yep! We took the plunge!! We got tickets to Madagascar Ice at the Gaylord (it’s all about hubby’s perks, right?!!)…so we decided to take the big boys. They had seen the sign for it awhile back and asked to go. I don’t know if we’ll go back (it seriously was extremely cold and was all over so fast, I wouldn’t pay for tickets to go), but at least we can say we did it!! I’ll be putting video on youtube, so you can check that out, too First, we got our giant parkas… Then we got to see all of the awesome ice sculptures. So much color, so many lights, so much talent! It’s pretty amazing to see. Finally, a few minutes of watching the trains…

Little Boys…white Christmas…JOY!

Fossil Rim with our 4 year old

Image
We're off to Fossil Rim again!! This year, for Eli's fourth birthday, he wanted to go see and feed the animals again like last year :) We happily obliged! (Josiah was thrilled to join the party this year.)   Happy birthday boy :)  Eli actually looked older today. He doesn't actually "turn" four until Monday, but it was so odd. He looked older, he was SUCH a good big brother to Josiah, and he just seemed, well...four!  haha, notice the tongue action on both parties involved   Yeah, why don't you guys go and find your own goats? I already found my friend.

Eli's early birthday celebration (a Thanksgiving tradition)

Eli, Eli, Eli, Boy, do we love you... Words will never be able to describe the life we have had with you these past four years. The challenges, the joys, the silliness, your sweet smile, your made up language and silly talk, your tongue out of your mouth when you do any focused activity, your flat hands and outstretched fingers when you run, the crying at the drop of a hat... we will always know you as our emotion-filled child. When you're happy, you're on top of the world. When you're not...you're not :)   And now you are FOUR!!     (doing his turkey impression...GOBBLE GOBBLE!!)     Happy birthday, monkey (also known these days as Tank because you are so thick and have a head as hard as a brick :) ) You always give us something to be thankful for. We love you!!!

This was 100% their idea
