Frye Fam Happenings

Eli received his cape today :) Justus decided to stuff a playsilk into the back of Eli's shirt today. Eli was quite pleased, so I suppose it's official... I have yet another hero to protect me.

Titus was taking a nap when we went outside to play today. Justus went inside to get some water for the plants, heard Titus, and invited him to come play with us. At first, he needed time to warm up to the bright sun. It didn't take him very long to get busy taking turns with the watering can. And soon after, he was making his little brother laugh...and making me smile :) We sure do love this kid! (That would be Derek you see in the background of the last picture... at it again with another project, paving the driveway!!! We sure do love our hard working Daddy and husband, too!)

6:00 am Hear Derek's phone vibrate on the windowsill. "It's a job," he says. I quickly realize my dear husband who I thought would be home this morning will not be anymore. He gets out of bed to get ready for his substitute job and kisses me goodbye. Now I know what it feels like to have a spouse "on call!" Oh well, at least we will have a little income for a change :) 6:30 Hear Eli saying, "Mama," very quietly, and realize he has been woken up (definitely a downside to Derek getting up early for work!) Decide to ignore him for awhile. 7:25 Justus is up...WOW!!! He never sleeps this late! He says he has to pee, and I say he can stay out of his room so he doesn't wake Titus up. Eli is pretty mad at this point and has gotten sick of playing in bed, so Justus and I go get him and head to the kitchen for breakfast. We have to leave in an hour for Justus' class at the Rec Center, so I tell him to eat and then brush his teeth and get dressed. ...

For the record, baby #4 pops out MUCH sooner than baby #1 :) Here I am prego with Justus at 22 WEEKS!!!! hahahaha And now, at 14 weeks with #4 :)

He can say Dada, Mama, Duhduh (Justus), Hi (one of his favorite), Hey, more (one of his firsts, the kid loves to eat!! "More" can mean eat, more, milk, or drink...Basically, he just wants something in his stomach :) ), hot, and ush (shoe) When asked what animals say, he responds with rufrufruf, neigh, or some form or fashion of a growling sound for numerous different animals. The only animal noises he quotes correctly almost 100% of the time is a dog, lion, dinosaur, and horse. Every other animal noise is interchangeable. He loves to play with measuring cups, and LOVES it when Justus and Titus get out all of my bowls and pots and big spoons and make meals using their Memory game cards, clothes pins, and whatever else they can find. He is infatuated with his big brothers. He yells "Daaaaaaa, or HEYYYYYYYY" whenever he sees them after being asleep or away for awhile. He tackles Justus often, lays on Titus while Titus is getting his diaper changed, and wants to be wher...
